James R. Grigsby, 89, died Feb. 22, 2014 in Springfield. He was born in Blandinsville to Rodmon and Florence Hodges Grigsby and married Alberta Dumbris in June 1984. There is one daughter, Linda (Chris) Eversole of Gainesville, FLa., and one son, James A. (Alicia) Grigsby of Springfield; three stepsons: Alan (Linda) Dumbris of Berea, Ky., Don (Jennifer) Dumbris of Golconda, Ill., and Charles (Rose) Dumbris of Springfield; and five grandchildren.

This family could be related to the Grigisky and (John Joseph) Straukas families of Riverton.
